My Story

I have had a huge passion for animals but especially dogs since I was young. My career started young working in kennels, grooming salons, and volunteering at the RSPCA which, over time then led me to train to become a lecturer. I passed my PGCE and qualified at the age of 23 and have since been lucky enough to be an Animal Care lecturer, Dog grooming lecturer, NVQ Assessor in Animal care, & a dog grooming stylist & manager. I have extensive knowledge and experience in dog behaviour, welfare and grooming as well as caring for exotic species and small animals and cats. I have decided to use this knowledge and open up Zoomies. Having a new puppy recently, I didn't want to leave him alone all day whilst I was at work. I also found I didn't always have the time to walk him after getting in from work. This led me to see how I could help others in the same situation and so Zoomies was born.

Where did the name come from?

Oh, I had everyone I knew thinking of names for my new business, however, nothing jumped out. Then out on a walk my puppy nailed it in one swift moment! He started doing Zoomies in the field!

More about me.

I am a hard working mum to a lovely son, and we have a ragdoll kitten who is definitely keeping us on our toes. I am also not new to running a business. I own an award-winning company making memorial jewellery which started in January 2019.
